"... It is true that light has become the object of his artistic speculation, his code of expression, but it is even more true to say that it is the sole "subject" of his photographic research. There is everything he needs in light: colour, pathos, musicality, dynamism ... The artist guides and controls light, he forces it through materials onto which it reflects and reverberates; at the end of this creative journey the subject photographed appears to be far removed from the objective reality of the light itself. Light roaming wild, on the perennial hunt for other forms and colours in which to substantiate itself. The techniques used are based on the concept of "purity"; filters and coloured lights, multiple exposures, computer processing are banished from his research and experimentation. The reason behind his choice can be sought in the pursuit of simplicity, imperfection, a sense of deftness and naturalness of light, closer to a "spiritual" idea. This process gives birth to "Light graphs", icons of light of Marco Currņ. ". Comment by: Giovanna Fiorenza (January 2003)
